Here is how we did it:<\/p>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"5,2\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">The South (Our Absolute Favorite!):<\/b> We spent our first three nights here, near Khem Beach, in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/booking.stay22.com\/sanyasworld\/RDT5pUaV2k\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ann Hotel &amp; Spa Khem Beach PQ<\/a>\u00a0. <a href=\"https:\/\/booking.stay22.com\/sanyasworld\/RDT5pUaV2k\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">You can check free dates and price here.<\/a> \u00a0This area is developing fast, with entire neighborhoods being built from scratch. Despite the development, the south still feels like a secluded little paradise \u2014 full of stunning views, pristine beaches, and an unforgettable, peaceful atmosphere. Khem beach<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"543\" data-end=\"879\">This is <strong data-start=\"558\" data-end=\"589\">the top beach on the island<\/strong> \u2014 hands down! Our hotel was nearby, so it was the first beach we visited. It instantly became our favorite.\u00a0The water is <strong data-start=\"719\" data-end=\"755\">crystal clear, warm, and shallow<\/strong> \u2014 honestly, I have no words for how beautiful it is. If you\u2019re traveling with little kids, this beach is perfect for you.\u00a0The <strong data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"917\">palm forest lining the shore<\/strong> is absolutely magical. Lying on the sand, you look up at the coconut palms swaying above you. It feels like something straight out of a dream. There aren\u2019t many restaurants around, which keeps the area peaceful and quiet. Sao beach\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"483\" data-end=\"702\">This was my <strong data-start=\"502\" data-end=\"527\">second favorite beach<\/strong> on the island. The water is, once again, <strong data-start=\"569\" data-end=\"606\">crystal clear, warm, and shallow.<\/strong> There are also more beach bars and restaurants here where you can grab a drink or a snack. <strong data-start=\"224\" data-end=\"378\">If you\u2019re into Instagram-worthy photos, this is the place. There\u2019s a palm swing that\u2019s perfect for pictures \u2014 and it\u2019s so much fun to swing on it too!\u00a0<\/strong>I honestly didn\u2019t want to get off! The palm trees here are tall and beautifully curved. They give the beach a slightly different vibe from Khem Beach. Starfish beach<\/strong><\/em><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"1083\">What I loved most about it was actually <strong data-start=\"938\" data-end=\"964\">the way you get there!<\/strong> We rode our scooter to the small pier where boats depart. The price for two people was <strong data-start=\"1052\" data-end=\"1080\">400,000 VND (around \u20ac16)<\/strong>.Walking along the wooden docks made me feel like <strong data-start=\"1134\" data-end=\"1148\">Lara Croft<\/strong> \u2014 it was such a fun little adventure! The boat ride takes about <strong data-start=\"1217\" data-end=\"1234\">10\u201315 minutes<\/strong>, and once you arrive, they leave you at the beach for two hours before picking you up again.\u00a0The beach itself is wild and peaceful, the water is crystal clear, and in the distance, you can even see the <strong data-start=\"1440\" data-end=\"1463\">shore of Cambodia.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-6722\" src=\"https:\/\/sanyasworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Istar-fish-beach-phu-quoc-600x800.jpeg\" alt=\"Starfish-beach-Phu-quoc\" width=\"392\" height=\"522\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sanyasworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Istar-fish-beach-phu-quoc-600x800.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/sanyasworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Istar-fish-beach-phu-quoc-768x1024.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/sanyasworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Istar-fish-beach-phu-quoc-585x780.jpeg 585w, https:\/\/sanyasworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Istar-fish-beach-phu-quoc.jpeg 810w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 392px) 100vw, 392px\" \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"871\" data-end=\"1083\">There\u2019s a small beach bar where you can grab a drink.\u00a0Apparently, there\u2019s also a way to reach the beach on foot, but we found that out later. Honestly, the boat trip was totally worth it!\u00a0I suspect the locals placed the starfish there to attract more tourists to this part of the island. Still, it\u2019s a cool experience.\u00a0If you have the time, definitely go check it out!<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_Long_beach\"><\/span><em><strong>4. You can explore a large area where they carefully recreated every scene.<br data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"502\" \/>At times, it feels a bit <strong data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"539\">haunting<\/strong> \u2014 it\u2019s hard to imagine that such horrors once existed in what is now a tropical paradise.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sunset_Town_Phu_Quoc_%E2%80%93_the_Spirit_of_Italy_Brought_to_Vietnam\"><\/span>Sunset Town Phu Quoc \u2013 the Spirit of Italy Brought to Vietnam<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"1211\">Surprisingly, it doesn\u2019t feel fake at all. We even met Italian travelers who were genuinely impressed and said they loved it!In fact, it reminded me a little of Las Vegas, but with an Italian twist.It carries the spirit of Italy, and walking through it feels like being transported straight to Europe.It\u2019s not completely finished yet. For that reason, now is the perfect time to go. Visit before it becomes crowded with tourists. This is a completely new town built from scratch.I was a bit skeptical at first, but when I finally visited, it completely blew me away!<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"873\" data-end=\"1211\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Italy_vibes\"><\/span>Italy vibes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p data-start=\"212\" data-end=\"470\">They\u2019ve built a Colosseum, their own Venice, and every street is inspired by a different part of Italy \u2014 Positano, Capri, Amalfi. Every year, more and more investments are pouring in.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"435\" data-end=\"587\"><strong data-start=\"414\" data-end=\"424\">Sadly,<\/strong> much like in Europe, we\u2019re watching Vietnam follow the same path \u2014 destroying its most beautiful natural places in the name of progress.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"589\" data-end=\"917\">When we rented a scooter and went exploring around the island, hoping to find some wild, untouched beaches, we realized it was almost impossible to reach the coastline in many areas. Why? Investors from Arab countries and major American hotel chains are building massive \u2014 truly massive \u2014 resort complexes all over the island.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"919\" data-end=\"1112\">Soon, this will make free access to many beaches nearly impossible.
